IMPORTANT NEWS:
Educator Testing
Beginning September 1, 2018, Pearson is the test administrator for the following tests: TExES, TExMaT, TASC, and TASC-ASL.  The Pearson website is at http://www.tx.nesinc.com

PACT Testing for TExES Content Tests
PACT is an abbreviation for Pre-Admission Certification Test.  All applicants to ACT Houston / Dallas / Austin must first demonstrate content proficiency for admission by taking/passing their desired TExES Content Test by PACT.  In other words, a passing score on a TExES Content Test is a prerequisite requirement for possible admission into the ACT program of their choice.

FAQs:
Will I need to create a new Pearson testing account?  I already have an ETS testing account?
Yes!  You will need to create a new Pearson testing account at www.nesinc.com , which will require an email address as the username, setting up a security question, and a password.  You will need to provide your TEA ID to link to your TEA account.  Once your new Pearson account is created, any Texas educator examination testing history you may have from the present back to 2006 will be available in your Pearson account, including your prior score reports.
Your existing TEA Login (TEAL) account and TEA ID number will not change.

I registered with ETS and took an exam in August.  Will my testing information and score report be in my new Pearson account?
If you tested with ETS on or before August 31, your scores will be posted in your ETS account and will be available there through September 28.  Beginning on September 1, your score reports for exams taken the last few weeks of August will also be available in your Pearson account, after the score reporting date.  All testing history will be made available in your Pearson account later in September, after scores are reported.

What is the cost to take a TExES exam through Pearson?
$116 + fee = $119
